With your support, Give a Child a Brighter Future has worked endlessly over the years to provide urgent hospitalization, life-saving operations, the purchasing of medical equipment, the setting up of our own children’s Dialysis center’s and providing for various orphanages and children’s centers in Lebanon.

HELPING CHILDREN SINCE 1985
Since 1985 Give a Child a Brighter Future has donated over £6,000,000 raised through our fundraising efforts. We are proud and humbled by the generous donations we have received and the tireless work of all those involved.

Funds raised provide medical equipment, as well as therapeutic and medical care programs. These projects are followed on year after year, and each New Year we select any new organisations or programs we will get involved with.
SPEECH THERAPY
Our Speech Therapy program was established in 1995, and over 400 children suffering from hearing loss and speech programs have been treated. Fida Hallak, who holds a Masters Degree from the Lebanese University and Rida Yamout, who holds a Masters Degree from Saint Joseph University, runs this program. This program has been a tremendous success and both therapists have a waiting list of more than 45 children.
In 2019 we raised money to add a Psychomotor Therapist, to support and aid in children’s development.
PROJECTS
The funds we raise mainly cover, but not exclusively, these ongoing Projects, Programs and Centers.
The Give a Child a Brighter Future Paediatric Unit at the Hayek Hospital in Beirut with young patients , their Doctor and the Nursing Staff
The Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Tripoli Governmental Hospital for sick Children in need of Special care .
The launching of a new Dialysis machine donated by a generous Benefactor to the Charity’s Dialysis centre at the Hayek Hospital in 2019. Pediatric Dialysis Machines have also been purchased and donated to various centres across the country.
Neo Natal machines donated to various Hospitals in Beirut including recently to the Rafic Hariri University Hospital.
Every year The charity renews its pledge to support and donate Funds to the ‘Association for Children with Renal Diseases’

Since 1989, the Eye and Ear Project, program has been one of our most important projects.
The Charity has provided hearing aids, prescription glasses, and artificial eyes for children between the ages of 4-16 years old.
As of 2018, the charity has donated over 1200 hearing aids, 4200 prescription Glasses and 190 Haptic lenses.
The creation of Art and Computer courses as well as Recreational Library centres.
The setting up of an Intensive Pediatric Unit at St Jude’s Children Cancer Center, which is affiliated with the American University hospital in Beirut.

Budget: 79,900$. Two incubators, two warmers and two monitors.
Budget: 62,200$. Five pediatric beds with monitors.
Budget: 14,000$. A mobile incubator.
Budget: 43,500$. Two mobile incubators.
2017
Budget: 43,500$. 7 monitors for the hospital's incubators.
Budget: 25,000$. A complete kindergarten classroom with its furniture and books.
